TAM, Earth and Agroforestry of Mangoro is a company of Malagasy law ; its purpose is the development
of deforested hills abandoned for decades at wild pastoralism, bush fires or colonization by eucalyptus.
BIO certified company in 2014 for all its products, TAM adheres to the COLEACP programs to meet the standards requirements
of the European market as it meets the Earth and Forests criteria for its lands management.
TAM priority program focuses on the strict respect for environnemental protection triggering a return to biodiversity,
in which the protection of fauna and flora hold pride of place, protecting the endemic species and the existing animals,
considering eventually the reintegration of species which have been compelled to migrate.
The social aspect constitutes obviously another priority of the program :
The plantations, studied so as to eradicate any clear-cutting and mitigate the fires, are constituted by high value-added forest trees,
by endangered species, fruit trees, culture species as coffee, spices, oils and of small size cultures such as the pineapple and other small fruits,
the hot peppers, and aromatic plants.
The company which glimpses later partnerships with units of transformation as well subsequently allotting certain localized areas
on strong slopes for livestock breeding, has already drawn and georeferenced circuits of walk and cyclists tours,
and sets up at present of mini photographic safaris dedicated to animals (Lemurs, crocodiles, wild animals),
in birds and in fabulous landscapes of the Malagasy Highlands .
Fayswood activities include sites restoration, sustainable management of plantations and of the trees nursery,
creation and maintenance of access infrastructures, soil irrigation and fertilization, waste management.
It is worth noting that the corporate policy aims at creating an exclusively organic agroforestry, enabling a maximal autonomy.
